Recruiting Coordinator Salt Lake City, UT Job Type Full-time Description Wheeler Machinery is seeking an energetic Recruiting Coordinator to support the Recruiting & Retention Manager who can help deliver a high-touch, personalized candidate experience and bring in the right high-quality talent to our great organization. Some of the job responsibilities for our Recruiting Coordinator include but are not limited to career fair participation, posting and closing jobs, conducting pre-screen interviews and setting up in-person interviews for hiring managers. This position would also be responsible for maintaining the applicant tracking systems and ensuring information is accurate and up to date. **Duties & Responsibilities:** + Post open positions on job boards for hiring managers. + Close jobs accurately and in a timely manner. + Evaluate candidates by reviewing resumes to determine if they meet position requirements. + Conduct preliminary phone interviews to screen candidates. + Coordinate and schedule in-person interviews with hiring managers. + Ensure candidates are tracked correctly through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) from resume review to either hire or decline communications. + Maintain the application tracking system, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. + Maintain communication with new hires as their point of contact to ensure an effortless onboarding process. + Coordinate pre-employment requirements including offer letters, background checks, pre-employment drug testing and onboarding paperwork. + Lead comprehensive orientation sessions for new employees, covering topics such as company policies, benefits, workplace safety, and organizational culture. + Integrate new hires into the workplace, help them feel welcomed. + Keep track of motor vehicle records for new hires. + Keep track of safety requirements for new hires and ensure they are in appropriate training before reporting to hiring manager. + Attend and participate in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events. + Provide stay interviews for current employees. + Assist with the exit interview process. + Responsibility for organizing company parties as part of their employee engagement efforts. + Performs all other duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications:** + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and other MS programs when necessary + Ability to learn new procedures and adapt to change + Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline + Ideal candidate shall be self-motivated and able to work alone as well as on a team + Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn + Willingness to travel on occasion + In office Monday- Friday **Preferred Qualification but not required:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources related field of study (Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, Public Relations, Communications) + Recruiting and interview experience. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
