Equitable is looking for an Recruiting Director (Financial Advisor Recruiting) to join our team! This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Territory Senior Vice President (SVP) by managing the recruiting pipeline and ensuring successful candidate experiences. This position requires a strategic mindset to influence and inspire candidates while maintaining shared accountability for territory results.
**Key Job Responsibilities**
+ Provide daily and ongoing support to the Territory SVP.
+ Assist in scheduling and follow-through for candidates in the pipeline with the SVP.
+ Support the territory pipeline and ensure efficient candidate processing.
+ Exercise discretion and independent judgment in evaluating an advisor's book of business and portability.
+ Share accountability with the SVP for achieving territory results.
+ Answer advisor questions and resolve issues promptly.
+ Understand and effectively articulate the Equitable Advisors Value Proposition to candidates.
+ Inspire and influence candidates through the Equitable Advisors Candidate Experience.
+ Lead and drive diversified sourcing initiatives.
The base salary for this position is $70,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications**
+ 2 years of professional recruiting experience in financial services or wealth management industry
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 66 or 65 strongly desired.
+ Prior experience as a financial advisor or wholesaler.
+ Strong follow-through ability and process-oriented mindset.
+ Familiarity with Salesforce CRM management is a plus.
+ Team player with a positive attitude.
**Skills**
**Industry Knowledge:** Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
**Listening:** Knowledge of effective listening issues and techniques; ability to gather, clarify, and apply information transmitted verbally, while exhibiting a genuine interest toward the speaker.
**Managing Multiple Priorities:** Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
**Negotiating:** Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
