Primary Position Purpose:

The Summer Internship Program at U.S. Xpress provides students with developmental training, mentorship, and networking opportunities in addition to hands-on experience. As a recruiting intern, you will support the recruiting team in their day-to-day operations. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks as needed.

Position Functions:

·       Support the Recruiting department compiling and analyzing information, contributing to problem solving, and reporting outcomes

·       Think creatively around building recruiting strategies

·       Support USX company-wide programs in recruiting

·       Other duties as assigned

·       Collaborate in-person with all levels of the organization to harness collective intelligence of the workforce

·       Attend all in-person meetings and trainings on recent developments, goals, and objectives. Participate in such discussions by offering input and advice

·       Regularly engage remotely and in-person with customers and potential customers to establish rapport, open communication, and expectations
