Maverik's Summer Intern Program is designed to provide a structured learning experience, equipping interns with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career. The internship will run from June 2025–August 2025, with a commitment of up to 30 hours per week. This opportunity is exclusively available to full-time students currently enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university.
As an intern, you will play a key role in supporting the recruiting team’s efforts in process optimization, social media engagement, and external relationship building.
Summary of Internship Project:Contributing to the development of recruiting pipelines, building out tools in Monday.com, and establishing relationships with trucking schools to grow the candidate pool.
Throughout this internship, you will achieve the following: Gaining hands-on experience in talent acquisition and social media strategy. Learning how to build and manage recruiting workflows and processes. Contributing to external relationship building with schools and organizations to expand candidate pipelines. Building out Monday.com to streamline recruiting workflows and projects for 2025. Assisting with social media by brainstorming, creating content, and being a brand ambassador. Creating a database for social media content to support long-term recruiting strategies. Researching trucking schools and establishing partnerships to help advertise opportunities for crude drivers. Supporting presentations and proposals to highlight recruiting initiatives and partnerships. The successful candidate should possess: Strong technical skills and comfort with software platforms like Monday.com (or similar tools). Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to connect with external partners by phone. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. A willingness to brainstorm and contribute to creative social media strategies. An ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions. Qualifications: A full-time college student that has completed their sophomore year by the beginning of the internship. Currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a degree related to the position. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn about talent acquisition and pipeline management. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
