Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for executing the recruitment process, including identifying, attracting, assessing and hiring qualified candidates and companies. Successful recruitment results in hiring or contracting the most qualified candidates, contractors or companies who can bring valuable knowledge, skills and experience to our workplace. You will thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, where no two days are the same. The transportation industry is constantly evolving with advancements in technology, sustainability and logistics, and you will be at the forefront of these changes.

Location: Amherst, NY (Hybrid Scheduling at least 3 days in office)

Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 

Compensation: $60,406 -  $82,000 is the full starting range (Pay Bi-Weekly) *A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create job ads, advertise job openings, screen applications, conduct interviews and check references to find qualified candidates Independently generate a pool of candidates and maintain relationships to sustain a pipeline of new applicants for new customer startups Implement recruitment strategies for new customer startups and act as a spokesperson for the recruiting department during inter-department meetings Exhibit a high proficiency in recruiting practices and standards, supporting the CRST business units Maintain partnerships with other departments, attend customer meetings, provide updates and represent CRST recruiting on calls and events Assist with new customer startups by finding qualified candidates meeting start date deadlines. Act as a lead point of contact for business unit operations to ensure capacity needs are met Contribute to department projects, assess and investigate recruitment issues for complex customers and create strategies to solve these issues Mentor other recruiters and act as a key contact for their questions Occasional travel to job fairs, local events, truck shows and other industry events to identify and recruit candidates for CRST and its customers

Requirements:

Highschool Diploma or GED Associates Degree or Higher
