The Recruiting Specialist is an essential part of the Stiles Team responsible for research, development and implementation of effective recruiting strategies. The Recruiting Specialist will partner with hiring manager to find the best fit utilizing appropriate resources.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process. Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, job fairs, etc. Screen candidates resumes and job applications. Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule. Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes. Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process. Assist with onboarding new employees. Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience. Experience in managing all phases of the recruitment and onboarding processes.

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software MS Office Suite Ability to multitask Adaptability to changing priorities Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong administrative skills Self-starter and self-reliant Excellent problem-solving skills Exceptional communication skills Exhibit a “Teach over tell” mindset and training skillset
