About the Role As a Centralized Staffing Specialist, you will execute the hourly staffing strategy to ensure locations have the appropriate staff to meet business objectives and increase employee engagement. What You’ll Do + Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to advance candidates through the hiring process + Provide daily work progress to the Team Lead + Execute best practices, communication, hiring and processes to achieve staffing goals + Maintain confidentiality with all records and information + Update communication and documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) + Ensure applications are complete and applicants are accurately executing the hiring process within ATS + Communicate accurately and effectively with candidates and/or peers + Support, communicate and champion Kohl’s hourly staffing direction + Additional tasks may be assigned + Conduct initial review of high-volume of applicants and job requisitions for multiple locations daily + Perform outreach to source the candidate pipeline + Answer general candidate questions + Create and post job requisitions for multiple locations + Create offers and processes a high volume of candidates through the hiring process in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) What Skills You Have Required + High school diploma or equivalent + Ability to work as a team and effectively interact with others in a work environment + Ability to quickly react and change direction as needed + Attention to detail + Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive information regarding candidates + Ability to work with multiple computer screens and knowledge of computer systems such as Google Preferred + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience + Previous HR experience + Prior retail experience and or high-volume recruiting + Working knowledge of Workday + Experience assisting recruiting efforts for hourly positions + Extended and weekend availability may be required
