Recruiting Superintendent
The Recruiting Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment process and strategies to ensure that our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees. This role involves leading a team of recruiters, developing recruitment policies and procedures, and collaborating with hiring managers to meet staffing needs. The Recruiting Superintendent will play a key role in shaping the talent acquisition strategy and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The Recruiting Superintendent will also be responsible for workforce planning and analytics. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** Recruitment Strategy: + Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and plans. + Identify and utilize various sourcing channels to attract diverse and qualified candidates. + Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven decisions. + Manage and Support internship program Team Leadership: + Lead, mentor, and develop team. + Set performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching. + Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Candidate Experience: + Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. + Oversee the interview and selection process, ensuring a fair and consistent approach. + Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners. + Manage relocation or sign on benefits of new hires. Employer Branding: + Promote the company as an employer of choice through various branding initiatives. + Create and maintain recruitment marketing materials. + Participate in job fairs, career events, and other networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility. + Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations Process Improvement: + Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes and systems. + Implement best practices and innovative approaches to talent acquisition, employer branding and internal communication. + Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. Collaboration: + Partner with HR and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions. + Work closely with department heads to align recruitment efforts with business objectives. + Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and progress. Work Authorizations: + Provide various levels of support to current employees on work visas depending on business needs + Serve as liaison between legal support team and management Internal Communications: + Develop communication channels to keep employees engaged and informed + Measure communication channels to evaluate engagement Data Analytics: + Responsible for ensuring consistent data analysis + All buildings and managers using single 'truth' + Develop views and analysis as needed **Environmental, Health &** **Safety:** + Support the protection of the environment, personal safety, prevention of pollution and the continual improvement of the Environmental Management System. + Providing leadership to the HR team in preventing accident and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA/TCEQ standards. This includes: continuously monitor the workplace for hazardous environmental, health, and safety conditions. + Ensure environmental, health and safety hazards are corrected, eliminated or guarded as related to the HR team + Within scope of responsibilities assessing engineering controls, administrative controls, and PPE on an on-going basis + Assisting in the investigation of accidents. + Having the authority to: Stop and prevent unsafe actions; stop the use of unsafe equipment and tools, stop work and/or have employees leave a work area + Ability to participate in investigation of near misses and other environmental/safety-related incidents that have occurred + Ensure that all department related incident reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner **Customer Requirements:** Must understand and comply with all applicable Customer Specific Requirements (SQAM) **Qualification Requirements:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. + 3+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 1 years in a management role. + Proven track record of successfully leading and developing a team. + Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and employment laws. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in applicant tracking , Microsoft Office, and other HR software. + SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus. + Experience supporting relocation and visa acquisition processes is a plus **Other Skills and Abilities:** Must be familiar with appropriate software programs (Workday, ADP) or similar. Duties also include assisting in the day-to-day management of the Environmental Management System.
