Overview

Anesthesia OnCall is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Recruitment Supervisor with a strong background in the recruitment of Locum Tenens within the healthcare industry. The Clinical Recruitment Supervisor will play a pivotal role in sourcing, screening, and managing anesthesia providers (CRNAs, CAAs, and Anesthesiologists) for various short-term and long-term assignments across the country; in addition to managing the recruitment processes, this role involves assisting Leadership by overseeing and guiding a team of recruiters to meet staffing and company goals. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, have a passion for recruitment, and possess a deep understanding of the locum tenens staffing model.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidate Sourcing and Screening:Utilizes various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and networking, to attract anesthesia professionals.Screens candidates through CV reviews and phone interviews to assess qualifications and fit for available opportunities.Develops and executes marketing and branding initiatives. Contract Negotiation and Amendments:Collaborates with Leadership and candidates to negotiate contract terms, including compensation, benefits, and work schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations.Facilitates the contract amendment process as needed, addressing any changes or modifications requested by clients or candidates.Serves as an advocate/liaison between clients and candidates to resolve any contract related issues or discrepancies, Market Research and Analysis:Stays informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities related to anesthesia staffing.Analyzes market data to identify opportunities for business development and growth within the anesthesia recruitment space.Compliance and Documentation:Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the recruitment and placement process.Maintains accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
Team Leadership and Oversight:Assists leadership by overseeing and guiding a team of recruiters, ensuring consistent performance and achievement of recruitment goals. Provides mentorship, training, and performance feedback to team members. Works closely with Leadership to develop and refine recruitment strategies, ensuring both short-term and long-term staffing needs are met efficiently. Assists in constructing and distributing detailed reports to Leadership.Tracks and reports recruitment metrics and performance to Leadership, ensuring team success and meeting organizational objectives. Travel Requirements:This position may require travel to meet with team members and attend industry conferences. The frequency of travel will vary based on business needs and can range from occasional to frequent travel depending on recruitment and company goals.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, with at least 2 years of experience recruiting for locum tenens roles.Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.Knowledge: Strong knowledge of locum tenens staffing, credentialing, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with anesthesia staffing trends is a plus.Leadership: Proven experience leading a team of recruiters and driving performance.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and foster candidates.Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking and time-management abilities to handle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.Technical Skills: Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM), Microsoft Office Suite, and recruiting platforms.
