Recruitment Account Manager - Technical Groups

Job Description Responsible for managing client relationships and driving recruitment efforts to meet the business hiring needs. Works closely with clients to understand their staffing requirements, develop effective recruitment strategies, and oversee the entire hiring process. The role involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, sourcing and screening candidates, and ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process. This role plays a crucial role in contributing to the success of both the clients and the recruitment agency.

Role Overview:

A Technical & Digital Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in the areas of technology and digital transformation. The role involves managing the recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding, while leveraging technical expertise and knowledge of the digital landscape.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

Source, screen, and evaluate candidates for technical and/or digital positions, including software developers, data scientists, IT engineers, Information Security, Site and Ops Engineers etc.Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical job requirements and craft compelling job descriptions.

Candidate Sourcing:

Utilize multiple sourcing channels such as job boards, social media, LinkedIn, employee referrals, and recruitment databases to identify top candidates.Leverage technical platforms like GitHub, Stack Overflow, and coding competitions to find specialized talent.

Interviewing & Assessment:

Conduct initial phone or video screens to assess candidate fit (technical skills, cultural alignment, etc.).Coordinate and manage technical assessments or coding challenges, when applicable.

Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the talent advisor to BUs, liaison between hiring managers, HR, and candidates.Keep stakeholders informed of recruitment progress, talent market and candidate pipeline development.

Offer & Negotiation:

Manage the offer process, including salary negotiation, benefits discussion, and contractual terms.Provide guidance to both the candidate and the hiring team during the offer and acceptance process.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Fulfillment rate and Time-to-Hire:

Overall fulfillment or Job Requirements and time taken from requisition to the candidate's acceptance.

Quality of Hire:

Percentage of new hires that meet or exceed expectations in their first 6-12 months of employment.

Offer Acceptance Rate:

Ratio of accepted offers to extended offers, indicating the attractiveness of the role and offer.

HM and Candidate Satisfaction:

Feedback scores from HMs and candidates on their recruitment experience.

Talent Pipeline:

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of pre-qualified candidates for future technical and digital roles.

Diversity & Inclusion Hiring Initiatives:

Proactively source and hire candidates from diverse backgrounds to meet organizational diversity and inclusion goals.Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of various technical roles, programming languages, frameworks, and software development processes.

Digital Expertise:

Familiarity with data analytics, and trends in digital transformation.

Sourcing & Networking:

Proficiency in using recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.), job boards, and networking at industry events.

Interviewing & Assessment Skills:

Expertise in conducting technical interviews, assessing coding challenges, and evaluating soft skills relevant to digital roles.

Negotiation & Communication:

Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical talent and business stakeholders.

ATS Proficiency: (optional but a plus)

Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday, and CRM tools.

Project Management:

Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
