We are seeking a Recruitment Advisor in Calgary, Alberta who thrives in the challenge of high-volume recruitment, for a 1-year term. This is a temporary contract for 1 year.
Responsibilities:
Manage the entire recruitment cycle for multiple project sites while creating a positive candidate experience and promoting ATCO’s Employment Value Proposition Perform high volume, fast paced recruitment for new project start-ups (mobilizations) and existing projects in remote locations. Proactively partner with business leaders and Human Resources Business Partners to understand workforce requirements. Support and advise hiring managers with interviewing, onboarding processes, recruitment strategies and candidate selection. Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations to encourage greater participation by under-represented groups. Build and maintain a talent pipeline of candidates for future consideration on key roles. Support and attend recruitment and human resources functions such as recruitment job fairs, client based open houses. Some limited travel as required.Qualifications/Skills:
Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related course work complemented with 3+ years of experience in a recruitment advisor level role. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Organized with proven attention to detail, problem solving, and ability to handle high volume work in a fast-paced environment. Experience recruiting for trades roles and US based recruitment would be considered an asset. Experience in coordinating projects for mass hiring, project mobilization/ramp ups Able to work in a high-volume recruiting environment and comfortable working under pressure. Self-driven and reliable with a strong sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently and manage own schedule. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to complex and challenging systems, including proprietary or unfamiliar software. Previous experience with Oracle will be considered an asset. Superior communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with highly confidential information in an appropriate manner. Ability to work effectively and professionally in a dynamic environment while leading multiple client demands and priorities.
