The opportunity
The Recruitment Director will lead the recruitment strategy and execution within the assigned region. This role is critical to driving business growth by recruiting high-performing agents and leaders, organizing impactful recruitment activities, and effectively managing the recruitment pipeline in contributing to the overall head count target of Manulife Agency. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Planning and executing monthly recruitment activities, such as career fairs, Business Opportunity presentations, and other relevant recruitment events within the assigned region.
Work closely with Leaders and Recruiters to ensure these recruitment efforts align with the agency’s growth vision and mission to drive agency expansion.
Track the recruitment pipelines from recruitment events to ensure results.
Enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the recruitment process, contributing to the agency's growth and success.
Monitor recruitment and activation metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
Work closely with Leaders to recruit and track the performance of agents on financing scheme. This involves regularly meeting with Leaders and Financing agents in reviewing financing matrix and performance indicators to ensure agents meet their targets and adhere to company standards.
Work closely with training team/ Agency Directors to co-train the development programs to support financing agents in achieving their goals and ensure timely & consistent communication to financing agents.
Work closely with Agency Leaders to ensure all recruitment activities and initiatives are successfully organised and executed to align with the overall recruitment strategy.
Work closely with Head of Recruitment, Recruitment Support Specialist and collaboration across departments to ensure the successful execution of activities and initiatives.
Work closely with training team to oversee the activation programs to support for new agents and to address any other needs for new agents (onboarding, incentives, training and etc.)
Track, monitor and provide recruitment data (weekly and monthly), and report the progress recruitment initiatives and projects and suggest and recommendations for improvement.
Provide continuous feedback and support to ensure that all initiatives are on track and meeting their objectives.
Direct appointment of new industry leaders or non-industry leaders for agency head count expansion.
Continuously assess and refine recruitment strategies to improve organizational performance and competitiveness.

What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in management, business, marketing, or any other related field.
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in Agency Development/ management, Agency recruitment, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry. Proven experience in recruiting agents and leaders in the insurance industry is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong understanding and capability of executing recruitment strategies and recruitment processes.
Attentive towards industry movement, collaborative, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
