Job Description:

We’re looking for a Recruitment Operations Coordinator to join our MBPS - Human Resources - Recruitment and Learning Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to:

Provide administrative support to Talent Acquisition Team while developing an understanding of Manulife's products and businessesResponsible for the centralized collection of approved hiring requisitions and posting of positions in Workday

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to Talent Acquisition Team while developing an understanding of Manulife's products and businessesResponsible for the centralized collection of approved hiring requisitions and posting of positions in WorkdayParticipate in the coordination of New Hire Orientation; reporting and tracking as requiredProvide support with pre-employment screening checks by actively tracking the process of the checks, billing costs, etc.Be a subject matter expert in Workday as it relates to template management (i.e. offer management)Manage Recruitment Coordination Activities such as Interview Arrangement, Raise/Adjudicate Background Check, Facilitate On boarding and Orientation Assist with recruitment operations related special projects as assignedFormat job descriptions for internal/external and niche site postingsCoordinate and schedule Interviews between Applicants and Hiring ManagersHandle logistics for interview room reservationsFacilitate assessment testing to applicantsInitiate and complete pre-employment screening process, tracking, follow-up, and costsInitiate and manage background checks by coordinating with applicant and background check vendorCreate and distribute employment offer letters and offer packagesManage On boarding & Orientation process tracking & coordination (where & when applicable)Align with other functional HR departments to ensure an effective flow of information and a consistent approach             

Qualifications

Graduate of a bachelor’s degree1-2 years HR experience preferably in training/administration/recruitmentWorking knowledge of various policies and practices is a plusWorking knowledge of HR Systems such as WorkdayProficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsExcellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishExcellent customer service skillsWell-developed time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities; can work independentlyStrong organizational skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong sense of urgency and flexibilityWilling to work day shift
