This position acts as a support to potential and existing foster parents to support a family’s decision to become a foster parent or foster to adopt parent.

Job functions include but are not limited to:

Provide insight from lived experience to potential and existing foster parents to support to support families through the challenging aspects of foster parentingProvide a structured, supportive, strength-based relationship with potential and existing foster parentsRespond to the needs of foster parents during non-business hoursMaintain contact with families (phone number, email, Facebook, other social media)Contact potential foster parents within twenty-four (24) hoursContact new foster parents within forty-eight (48) hours of their first placement to discuss any support required to make the placement successfulRemain in contact with the foster parents as long as requested by the familyAssist in recruitment efforts, annual and monthly recruitment plansAssist in Recruitment Advisory Council meetings.Provide support to foster parents to build skills which help stabilize placements, prevent disruptions and increase availability of foster parents for children and youth with complex needsRespond to a request for coaching support as soon as possible, and within twenty-four (24) hours of the assignmentWork in collaboration with the assigned Department licensing worker, child’s assigned family service worker, and the foster family to support children’s transitions home, to other placements or to a permanent familyWork collaboratively with each foster family and assigned licensing worker to identify training opportunities to assist foster parents in meeting the needs of the children or youth they provide care forWork collaboratively with the Contract Monitor, Statewide Foster Care Program Manager, regional licensing supervisor, and licensing worker to address concerns expressed by the foster family

This position is a remote, work from home position. PCG is a remote-friendly organization and is committed to creating a culture where remote work remains a vital part of the company’s success. To be successful in a remote work role at PCG, you must:

be available during your set working hours.have a safe, private, and distraction-free environment in which to complete your work, and be able to give your full attention to the completion of your PCG job duties.

Some travel to the office or elsewhere may be required for team meetings, client meetings, etc.

PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $50,000-70,000.

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.  As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
