**Atlantic Coast Recycling** **is looking to expand our Maintenance Team with another Machine Mechanic in Passaic, NJ.** **We are looking for a skilled Machine Mechanic to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment at our recycling facility. The mechanic will ensure all machines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.** **Pay for this role will be $31-$36/hr based on relevant experience.** **Responsibilities:** **• Inspect, maintain, and repair recycling machinery (conveyors, balers, shredders, sorters, etc.).** **• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform timely repairs.** **• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all facility equipment.** **• Keep detailed maintenance and repair records.** **• Collaborate with operations staff to minimize equipment downtime.** **• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.** **Requirements:** **• Previous experience working with industrial or heavy machinery (preferably in recycling, manufacturing, or similar industries).** **• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.** **• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.** **• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.** **• Must be able to lift heavy parts and work in a physically demanding environment.** **• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.** **What you’ll get from us:** **Competitive Compensation** **401(K) with company match; let us help you save for your future** **Healthcare; Medical, Dental, Vision** **Perks, perks, perks!
