The Reference Data Services Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. **Responsibilities:**
+ Manages complex and highly varying issues with significant potential impact on multiple operations' areas.
+ Lead projects, resolves escalated issues and/ or offer solutions at an advanced level.
+ Liaises with multiple teams/departments.
+ Serves as analytical and/or procedural expert, representing a unit or team on cross functional processes or project deliverables.
+ Stays abreast of the organization's operational procedures and best practices in business strategy and process/quality improvements; using such knowledge to recommend customized business solutions to internal clients.
+ Serves as subject matter expert in business, planning and analysis for area supported.
+ Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and streamline processes.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**RSRU VP:**
In this role, you will be a part the Regulatory Reporting Recommending Unit (RSRU) team and the core responsibilities are:
+ The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the Innovation Lab and leading the rollout of an Artificial Intelligence model to support regulatory segment validation and workflow modeling. This will need strong project management to ensure successful implementation of the new tool.
+ The candidate will be a senior member of the established group and will work in close partnership with Risk Managers, Finance and Business.
+ Reviewing the Obligor information available in the public domain and recommending the appropriate Basel Counterparty type based on the regulatory interpretive guidance. Counterparty type information is a key attribute consumed in RWA calculations.
+ Liaising and providing the required facts and evidence to the second line of defense function at Citi in order for them to review and challenge RSRU’s recommendation on the counterparty type.
+ Supporting with Audit requests pertaining to Regulatory Segment recommendation.
+ Involved in the many diverse activities that the team engages in, to support the overall RSRU’s Book of Work.
**Qualifications:**
+ 10 to 12 years of experience
+ Well-developed management skills and relevant experience managing operational functions.
+ Ability to influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions); ability to communicate with external parties
+ Strong Project Management skills
+ Risk and control mindset
+ Knowledge of AI/ML would be an advantage
+ Basel and knowledge of Credit risk will be an added advantage
