LAC Federal is seeking a Reference Librarian to work for a prestigious federal library in the Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Librarian will provide high-quality reference and instruction services including literature searching, development of training material, library resources use instruction, research methodologies, and support of bibliometric research. This is a full-time, hybrid position with benefits. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Responsible for the library portion of the weekly report + Conducts literature searches and organizes results in EndNote + Creates Endnote libraries for use for peer review process + Prepares bibliometric reports and visualizations + Conducts weekly and monthly research alerts + Provides additional reference services + Develops classes and training materials + Teaches group and one-on-one training classes + Assists with marketing of the library and other special projects. Requirements + Must be ACA-accredited MLS (Master of Library Science). + Master’s degree in Library Science preferably with specialized or government libraries concentration + Three (3) years of experience providing customer service in a library, educational or public service environment. + Three (3) years of experience using popular software programs with ability to learn new technology, preference given to candidates with experience in manuscript management systems.
