CentraCare is looking for a qualified Referral Assistant. This role is responsible for providing scheduling support to a specific department. Participates in the coordination of clinic activity through the processing of physician's orders through referrals. Performing patient scheduling and registering new patients when needed and adding them to the Epic System. We serve the needs of patients politely and efficiently while utilizing excellent customer services skills.

Schedule:  

Full time | 80 hours every 2 weeks | Remote after training is completed Day shift | 8am-4:30pm 

Pay and Benefits:

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required, or post high school training or equivalent experience  Experience with referral processes and third party and billing functions preferred Clinic or comparable health care environment experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
