Qualifications
High School graduate or GED Preferred
Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with other department leaders written and verbal Must be an experienced typist Capable of making independent decisions Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects or tasks at one time High level of concentration and attention to detail Ability to work independently
Preferred: Strong customer service focus. Organized and able to manage competing priorities Ability to handle a high volume of patient information. Knowledge of ICD-9(ICD-10) and CPT codes for the purpose of authorizations Knowledge of insurance plans and their rules. Resourcefulness in problem solving.
