Job Highlights:This Opportunity:The primary responsibilities of the Referral Marketing Manager are to conduct marketing and customer service activities for Monarch in the assigned region. Marketing activities include: direct outreach to targeted partners, attending meetings, planning events, providing tours, performing referral source in-services, and acting as a liaison between the referral source and Monarch. This position will participate in new program development as requested and market new services and programs as assigned.What You'll Do:1. Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources. Ensure timely and accurate communication of pertinent information.
2. Meet required contact goals and make face-to-face contact with each referral source at the required frequency based upon the current status of the referral source. Strive to increase the number of referrals by successfully managing referral relationships.
3. Arrange and conduct individual and group tours, special events, and/or presentations for referral sources, presenting Monarch in a professional manner.
4. Maintain accurate records, logging all outreach and referral management activities in appropriate systems/databases and provide reports as required.
5. Develop comprehensive knowledge of each of Monarch’s programs and services with the ability to describe admission criteria per service line and maintain an understanding of the individual and organizational referral sources that align with those services.
6. Remain available and responsive to referral contacts whenever they need assistance, information, or feedback. Analyze, investigate, and solve referral source problems, collaborating with Monarch staff as necessary.
7. Identify, attend, and represent Monarch at related conferences and conventions to network and to generate leads of potential referral sources. Some weekend and evening work may be required.
8. Attend appropriate Monarch in-service trainings, local staff meetings, and statewide meetings to remain informed of current program issues and service changes.
9. Participate in the development of effective marketing strategies of new services and programs as assigned.
10. Maintain knowledge of Monarch’s competitors within the marketplace. Know their service lines and their strengths and weaknesses and communicate them effectively to Monarch leadership.
11. Maintain trainings as required and requested.
12. Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations.
13. Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures.
14. Complete all other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
15. Driving and travel will be required.
