Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/. Position summary Responsible for the sales of Refractive & New Technology IOL lenses within a defined Region. Upsell to Customer with technical support, training in New Technology & Premium Category IOLs. Support Territory Managers with their identified potential Customers by providing them with technical support & training. The incumbent is expected to plan, organize and implement selling activities in line with the plan for the surgical business and achieve or exceed the annual and quarterly sales objectives using professional selling skills, time and territory management and the efficient use of promotional material consistent with marketing objectives. Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives. Essential functions / responsibilities Main areas of responsibility: Ensure effective sales and customer training on the specialized products through sales pitches, product demos and other training aids Achieve or exceed the annual and quarterly sales objectives through the use of professional selling skills, time and territory management and the efficient use of promotional material consistent with marketing objectives. Work with the Customer staff to motivate, train and support them for best surgical outcomes with the premium IOLs. Should be good at building relationship with internal and external customers (Doctors/KOLS/Distributors/Peers and Superiors). The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring competitor activity and market trends, recommending solutions and implementing corrective actions based on factual information. Effectively collaborate with the RSM and other cross functional teams for constant up selling opportunities for premium IOL’s. Ensuring timely collection of data and submission of report to their manager. **Qualifications** Qualifications Minimum education required for competent performance: A Bachelor’s degree in Science/Commerce/Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation) or Optometry. MBA will be an added advantage Minimum 4 – 6 years sale experience in Healthcare industry preferably Medical Devices and consumables Supervision / authority A. Give no supervision to others. B. Have lead responsibilities for one or more employees. C. Responsible for work flow production, training of new employees on covered jobs, answering job-related questions in one or more areas. D. In addition to "C", assist in reporting on performance, recommending advancements, implementing new or changed procedures. Generally recognized as Group Leader or Assistant Supervisor. E.
