We are seeking a Refractory Brick Mason for work in the Pass Christian, MS area. This position is responsible for the removal, surface cleaning and installation of the refractory materials per owner\/company requirements. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman or Supervisor; Supports development of procedures for performance of variety of duties \/ performs complex duties within established guidelines.\n
\n

Essential Qualifications:\n\nOne (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level)\nWritten pre-employment qualification test\nPost-offer drug\/alcohol screen and physical evaluation\nHazard Communication orientation\/test\nJob site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)\nSafety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)\nApplicant\/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place\n\n

Functional Requirements:\n\nLay bricks, stone and other masonry units in building industrial infrastructures.\nRead and interpret the sketches and blueprints.\nCut and trim bricks using hammers or chisels or masonry saws and other hand and power tools\nLining or relining furnaces and boilers, kilns and similar installations using acid-resistant bricks, concretes, plastics or other materials\nRestoring, cleaning or painting existing brick structures\n\n

Compensation\n

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.\n
