What You'll Do Promote safe work environments through example; good housekeeping & effective safety meetings Pian out production for most efficient process Ensure forklift and crane reports are completed each shift Utilize improvement projects that increase the departments functionality Analyze, treat & establish counter measures for failures Plan maintenance work as well as work routinely with vendors Monitor daily staffing needs and communicate with other employees to fill in vacancies to maintain operations Plan and attend required staffing and safety meetings Planning of future budgets Hold Performance Reviews with employees and/or give feedback on employees performance Actively participate and assist in leading team with CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture (Take 2, Observation Cards and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Leading effective crew meetings at start of shift. Include any safety, quality or production communications applicable. Drive results with team members through accountability and performance feedback Foster positive employee relations in order to attract, develop and retain high performance teams—focused on employee engagement, leadership development, performance alignment to CMC objectives, and change management for accountability. Plan out production for most efficient process of production line What You'll Need Minimum 5 years of Melt Shop Experience Experience in Inventory Control Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint Data entry in SAP/QMOS experience Ability to track, chart, and improve processes Demonstrated leadership, team-building and people-development skills Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
