Refrigeration Supervisor 2nd shift

The Refrigeration Supervisor is responsible for all maintenance functions necessary to ensure efficient plant operations: manufacturing, utility services, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, compressed air, electrical services, and building maintenance.

Refrigeration Supervisor provides coaching and Skill development to the Maintenance and Operations teams in:  loss elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management to sustain a proactive - planned Ammonia Refrigeration program.

\r\n

Other responsibilities include training, coaching and assessing mechanics on maintenance & refrigeration related elements of Butterball LLC and regulatory compliance of the environmental program, project installation, modification, or renovation of building and equipment.

\r\n\r\n\r\nGuide the factories to reduce technical stoppages in equipment or areas of common occurrence (priority given to areas of highest incidence or impact). \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nEnsure the systematic review all line, processes, and utilities that are critical to the business and those where failure can have an unacceptable impact on safety, personnel safety, food safety, environment, or compliance with the law.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMonitor plant/equipment trends to ensure best possible operation and reduction of planned/unplanned downtime.\r\nPropose and monitor key performance indicators in accordance with the Best Maintenance Practices.\r\nFacilitate the evolution/refinement of Maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime (PM’s, changeovers, etc.).\r\nSupervisory Responsibilities\r\nEnsure the implementation of all repairs/modifications resulting from Gap assessments, plant audits, and notifications are executed on time and offer a high-quality workmanship.\r\nEnsure that the job planning, material and services planning is accurate and effective.\r\nEnsure that the equipment history, damage code and root cause analysis are completed correctly.\r\nEvaluate the performance of team members and provide periodic feedback to ensure development.\r\nCollaborate with corporate engineers, suppliers, contractors, and plant partners to ensure customer needs are met.\r\nEncourage close teamwork between all functions (Engineering, Productions, Quality Management, etc.).\r\nConduct regular inspections of plant to seek out potential problems and to solicit operator feedback.\r\nAssures compliance with government regulatory agencies.\r\nOther duties as assigned.\r\n\r\n

Required Qualifications:  Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of Utilities, Facilities or Production equipment maintenance or direct experience with Maintenance Refrigeration and/or supervision preferred.

\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong technical and leadership skills:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to lead, motivate and develop others.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAble to organize, coordinate, and direct users and teams.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge of PSM /PM\r\nAsset Management Software (SAP Preferred)\r\nBreakdown Analysis\r\nReliability Center Maintenance Practices\r\nPM Optimization\r\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nUnderstanding of regulatory requirements for food safety.\r\nStrong interpersonal skills.\r\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.\r\nProficient of computer programs such as Microsoft Office.\r\nAbility to adjust quickly to changing demands.\r\nExcellent organizational skills.\r\nKnowledge and understanding of the cost drivers of Maintenance in manufacturing operations.\r\nGood working knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP) with the ability to mine and analyze data for trends/reports.\r\n\r\n
