About the Role

Civeo Australia are looking for a Refrigeration Technician to join our Asset & Facilities Maintenance team in our Remote Accommodation Villages in regional Queensland, based out of either our Blackwater or Coppabella Villages.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll your time in the field, with travel required across multiple villages on a lifestyle friendly week on / week off roster. 

The main responsibility of these roles is to carry out the reactive, planned and preventative maintenance in Civeo Villages in a professional, technically sound, safe and timely manner.

Lifestyle friendly 7:7 roster Drive in / Drive Out (our Villages are located in Regional Queensland in locations approx. 300km from Rockhampton & Mackay)  Food and accommodation provided at our Villages (for those not living locally to the Village). What we need from you

 

Refrigerant handling licence  Restricted electrical work licence – restricted to refrigeration/air-conditioner installation   Trade Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic  Class C, Manual Driver’s licence  Proficient with Microsoft Office   Demonstrated experience in similar work, preferably in the service industry/hospitality/high volume hotel services over multiple sites  A minimum of two years experience in cold room maintenance or repair work  Experience with installation/maintenance/repair of air conditioning systems, including ducted  Experience in maintenance and repair of heat pump type hot water systems  Experience in high volume, fast paced work environments  Ability to pass Pre-employment medical A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain Documentation to prove your working rights within Australia Demonstrated experience in similar work, preferably in or around mine sites, mining villages, or residential/demountable buildings Exceptional communication skills  Passionate about safety and providing an enjoyable working environment for all employee
