Refund Audit Rep (Hybrid)

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Include the following _. Other duties may be assigned._
Ensures all outgoing refund requests have been audited and addresses are accurate
Communicates with clinics weekly regarding new refunds
Manages tracking of approvals and follows escalation process for timely resolution
Ensures denied refunds are sent to refund department for resolution
Accurately submits approved refunds to AP for processing
Ensure insurance checks are mailed timely with appropriate documentation
Correctly enters check numbers in the practice management system
Retrieves daily mail and distributes

**Education and/or Experience Preferred:** High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year of experience with insurance billing requirements and accounts receivable follow up procedures; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Language Skills:** Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
**Reasoning Ability:** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
**Computer Skills:** To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of general computer applications and practice management systems. Excel experience is required.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
