Description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead our dedicated Risk Control team servicing The Home Depot (THD). Ranked 23rd on the Fortune 500 and employing over 450,000 associates, THD is one of Helmsman’s largest clients.  The Home Depot casualty program is administered by over 120 dedicated service, claims and risk control professionals, including The Home Depot Dedicated

Risk Control Team.  As a key member of the Home Depot casualty program, you will lead a team of 8 risk control professionals in implementing strategies that enhance our value proposition.

You will work closely with the Risk Management and Health & Safety teams to identify and mitigate safety hazards. Your responsibilities will include managing relationships with health and safety contacts, overseeing workforce management and performance metrics, driving process improvements, and promoting innovation. The Home Depot Risk Control team is known for its responsiveness and ability to proactively create impactful solutions, demonstrating our value in loss mitigation. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, strong relationship-building skills, a customer focused approach, and a passion for quality execution, along with the necessary technical expertise.

 

Note: CSP designation is required.

 

Responsibilities

 

Leads the Risk Control team and collaborates with Risk Management and Health & Safety to identify and mitigate safety hazards.Builds and maintain relationships with customer organizations to influence business objectives.Understands customer operations to develop and execute risk mitigation strategies aligned with the client's injury reduction goals.Fosters a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery and risk reduction strategies.Develops and executes data-driven strategies for loss mitigationEnsures alignment between staff technical/consultative skills and service strategy needs as well as internal quality standards. Identifies skills gaps and builds development strategies in collaboration with Specialists and Technical Directors. Effectively triages work to achieve appropriate utilization of Consultants and Virtual capabilitiesEnsures staffing level and technical skills are appropriate to meet business objectives. Recruits a high performing results oriented staff. Fosters internal Talent Mobility to build deeper talent feeder pools that result in greater diversification of staff.Ensure appropriate compliance with all legislation, corporate policies, and programs.
