Position Summary:
This position is part of the Light Products North Division – Midcon Region and reports to the Midcon Commercial Market Director. The position is based in Findlay.
Key Responsibilities:
Owns the sales forecasting process and system to include: reviewing region out-month forecasts and updates; monitoring actual sales versus forecast by commodity by terminal; assessing market dynamics; making relevant updates to the forecast; coordinating customer supply shifts; determining product availability at terminals; and investigating reasons for product outages.
Responsible for data analysis to support day-to-day operations in the region including the analysis of market alternatives, assessment of profitability in business opportunities, and market analysis for potential new-market entry.
Collaborates with Region personnel and BP&A for the development and administration of the business plan, tactical plans, and expense & capital budgets.
Responsible for, in collaboration with Business Operations, the development and maintenance of scorecard metrics for organization goals, competitive bid documentation, and monitoring station and contract turnover.
Serves as a key member of the Region Leadership Team and manages administrative staff that provide trouble shooting and terminal loading support to the field. Provides advice and information to marketing personnel regarding policies, programs, price studies, and business proposal development. Develops plans and materials and handles all arrangements for region meetings.
Prepares and reviews bids/proposals and maintains contracts in RightAngle in addition to monitoring overall contract performance in partnership with Business Operations.
Reviews and approves purchase orders, invoices, and expenses.
Has formal supervisory responsibilities; coordinates resources and sets daily priorities to meet operational objectives . Provides performance management of team.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline required.
Six (6) years of Marketing, Accounting, IT, Commercial or Engineering background required.
Two (2) years of marketing field experience preferred.
Experience in the following software preferred: RightAngle, Allocation Manager, SalesForce, Microsoft Office Suite, NVision, CDM, Appian, SAP, Tableau
