The Regional Account Manager is responsible for representing the sales and customer interests of the Bosch Automotive Aftermarket organisation in the United Kingdom – Scotland.

Job Description

The job holder will be expected to contribute significantly to the overall delivery of the MA/SEN2 Aftermarket businesses in total. In addition, the RAM is expected to collaborate with colleagues throughout the business to achieve the best possible result for Bosch as a whole.

Responsibilities will include:

Write and implement account plans for his/her designated Key Accounts together with the customer and Bosch sales teamsEnsure account plans are updated ongoing with all current and relevant information concerning the client and their / our activitiesEstablishing and maintaining strong client relationships through regular close contact account management which will include face to face meetings, telephone and email communication. You will be required to spend 80% of your time in face to face client engaged activityPursue opportunities for account growth and new business with the WTE and second trade level sales teamsCommunicate the client’s goals and represent the client’s interests to the RB teamProvides regular two-way communication between the client and RB team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectationsEnsure the necessary training and development of your clients Regional Managers / Sales Managers / Branch Managers are catered for encouraging and motivating them to sell Bosch productsReview all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, ongoing projects, function spec, etc) to ensure KPI’s and client expectations are metEnsure you manage all expectations of all parties involved by communicating through meetings, verbal, written and email formsProducing a monthly and quarterly status report and establishing individual requirementsActively seeking to increase the services offered to your client from the RB portfolio of products and services and to increase the income generated and maximize profitReporting of information within the division as required

QualificationsExperience of the UK Automotive AftermarketOutline knowledge of Diagnostics EquipmentHave experience of working in a remote location away from a head officeHave broad knowledge of H&S requirementsBe IT literate in a variety of Microsoft programmesHave awareness of Bosch internal structures and policy (desirable)Have knowledge of Bosch information and site related software systems (desirable)Ability to confidently take ownership of customer and stakeholder queriesAbility to work collaboratively and proactively with all members of MA as well as the wider Bosch networkTo display, at all times, a customer oriented, service provider attitude and be a positive ambassador for the companyBe determined, energetic and flexibleEffectively and timely work towards defined targetsMust hold a full clean UK driving licenseBe able to participate in events outside of normal working hours
