Qualifications High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related area from a four-year college or university, or four-six years’ experience in Accounting or equivalent combination preferred Superior organization skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills. Ability to multi-task creatively and independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to work under pressure. Manage time well and excel within strict timelines. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents such as technical journals, financial reports Ability to use a 10-key calculator, telephone, photocopy machine, binding machine, and computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Work well both independently and as a member of the team. Friendly and personable. Bilingual is a plus. License Requirements

Must secure appropriate RI mandated gaming licenses

Essential Job Functions Prepare financial reports and analyze financial operations. Responsible for monthly close process. Responsible for year-end audit. Responsible for daily cash reporting. Reconciles bank statements, balance sheet and income statement accounts. Reconciles slot clearing accounts for the state. Distribute monthly financial detail reports to department heads. Keep all financial information confidential Answer all financial related questions. Maintain a consistent and regular attendance record. Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports Ensure the integrity of all financial data produced by the department Facilitate the flow of information throughout the property by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned PhysicAl/Mental Requirements Constantly attend to details, sit, talk, hear, reach, eye/hand coordination, hand and wrist motion and manual dexterity in writing and in the use of telephone, 10-key calculator keypad and computer keyboard. Occasionally reach, bend, and lift boxes weighing up to 20 lbs. Occasionally walk, reach, and lift in the use of the photocopy machine. Working Conditions Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment, on a carpeted floor, either alone or with others. Exposure to paper and/or dust particles Subject to outdoor temperatures Exposed to smoke, bright lights, and noise Operation of various machines and equipment including but not limited to shredders, copiers laminating and binding machines, computer equipment. Target Salary Range $78,000
