Medical Facilities of America – Clinical Consulting, a regional leader in healthcare and skilled nursing services, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our growing team as the Regional Admissions Review Nurse.

This role is critical in ensuring compliance and accuracy in the admissions process across multiple skilled nursing centers in the greater Richmond area in Central Virginia.

What you'll do

·         Conduct thorough post-admission reviews for all new admissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

·         Identify any missing documentation, errors, or compliance concerns in admissions.

·         Generate daily reports for facility leadership, highlighting any concerns or corrective actions needed.

·         Collaborate closely with Directors of Nursing (DONs) to provide education and training for nursing staff when recurring admission issues arise.

·         Work on-site at facilities five days a week, partnering with teams to improve processes and ensure best practices.

What you need

·         Active, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia required.

·         Experience in admissions, compliance, or skilled nursing facility operations is highly preferred.

·         Strong attention to detail and ability to identify documentation gaps.

·         Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple facility teams.

·         Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation review.

·         Effective communication and leadership skills to provide education and feedback to staff.
