Position Overview: ECPI University is seeking a Regional Apprenticeship Coordinator to develop and manage apprenticeship programs that align with our mission to enhance students' professional and personal lives through education.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with industry partners, academic departments, and students to create pathways that integrate academic learning with practical work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development: Design and implement apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs in collaboration with academic leaders and industry partners to meet current workforce needs. Partnership Management: Establish and maintain relationships with employers, community organizations, and educational institutions to support and expand apprenticeship opportunities. Recruitment and Outreach: Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and placement of apprentices with employers, ensuring alignment with program standards and student career goals. Compliance and Monitoring: Ensure all apprenticeship programs comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, and monitor apprentice progress to ensure successful completion. Support and Guidance: Provide ongoing support to apprentices and facilitating access to necessary resources. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of apprenticeship activities and outcomes, and prepare reports to assess program effectiveness.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in program coordination, workforce development, or a related area. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Previous experience launching new programs or services, demonstrating problem-solving, adaptability, and leadership. Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and workforce development trends.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data management systems.
