Regional asset manager - Sweden and Finland

Siemens Real Estate Services (SRE) is the real estate service provider of Siemens AG and is responsible for the company's global real estate business. We manage the portfolio, operate the real estate including all real estate-related services, are responsible for its exploitation and carry out all Siemens-wide construction projects. We are looking for a regional asset manager!

To strengthen and support our ongoing journey, we are looking for a regional asset manager to join our team with base preferably out of the Solna (Stockholm) office. You will be responsible for the management of real estate assets including external lease business in Sweden and Finland with a focus on Siemens space and service requirements within the existing portfolio including full budget and personnel responsibility. You will be based in Solna (Stockholm), but the portfolio includes locations in all of Sweden and Finland consisting of approximately 50 locations (approx. 40,000 sqm of office space).

You will join our Real Estate Services (SRE) team in the Nordics, and work in close cooperation with the Zone RAM head for the Nordics. You will also be a manager for the SRE team in Sweden and Finland.  

You’ll make an impact by:

Manage the real estate portfolio in Sweden and Finland—overseeing strategic planning, operations, and adherence to SRE standards, processes, and budgets—while executing management-driven real estate strategies. Secure excellent Customer Relationship Management and Stakeholder Management (predominantly internal) and be a contact partner for real estate related topics within your area of locationsManagement of the real estate portfolio according to SRE standards, processes and budget. You will be responsible for managing projects within the portfolio, overseeing the execution of Siemens Real Estate (SRE) M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) initiatives in alignment with Siemens' M&A strategy.Driving continuous improvement of real estate costs for internal customers.Sourcing of Real Estate related services as well as steering and controlling of SuppliersContribution to the HQ business lines, e. g. Project management (PM), Maintenance & Technology (MT), Transaction Management (TM), and Portfolio Management & Markets (PMM) Ensure legal ownership representation to local authorities and total adherence to local statutory regulations and local laws. Support to the HUB in regional initiatives in close cooperation with the Regional Business Management. Support Siemens' global carbon reduction goals by implementing green leases and energy efficiency measures within the SRE portfolio.

You excel in:

We are looking for a candidate with an educational background in Economics or Engineering, with a focus on real estate. You have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in responsible roles within the real estate sector, and possess a solid understanding of Facility Management, Procurement of Real Estate Services, and Legal aspects. You have a strong understanding and overview of the real estate market developments and ensure your portfolio is in line with the market. Advanced skills in MS Office and familiarity with essential tools (e.g., Planon, Big Data) are highly recommended, as well as a good command of real estate law.

You also have leadership experience in a managerial role, with a proven track record in building a high-performance culture showcasing the ability to hire and develop your team to excellence. As a person you are driven and motivated to collaborate with customers seeking the best possible business solutions. You have ability to influence and think “out of the box”. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Swedish enabling top-class stakeholder management are a requirement.
