The Banking & Trust Sales team is seeking a Regional Banking Associate (RBA) to provide dedicated support for the Regional Banking Managers (RBMs). The RBAs will help RBMs drive a deeper understanding of our Banking & Trust solutions among our retail branch partners as well as with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) who utilize Schwab to custody their clients’ assets.

Qualified candidates are aspiring financial professionals with a desire to grow within Schwab Bank to help promote holistic financial planning with an emphasis on liability managementCreating data to support RBMs in developing new business Tracking and organizing RBM sales leadsWorking with internal partners to provide pipeline management supportActing as secondary business development and sales support resource for all Schwab clients and prospects when the RBM is unavailableProactively supporting RBM in lead generation and pipeline maintenance through relationship management, CRM proficiency, and client follow-upCollaborating and presenting training & development materials directly to field partnersPartnering with RBMs to develop region specific strategies to increase Bank awareness and household penetrationCommunicating regional marketing campaigns to field partnersPreparing with RBMs for upcoming client & partner meetingsExecuting follow-up & assignment of inbound Trust Services leads Providing ongoing feedback to internal partners regarding available new solutions, services, pricing, and marketing materials.Executing timely and relevant information to field partnerships, while proactively anticipating the needs of RBMDemonstrate excellent communication & partnership skills within our Sales/Operations partnershipDelivering an exceptional experience through meeting all service level agreementsAbility to adapt quickly to support teammates and clientsBuilding outside vendor relationships to strengthen overall partnership with SchwabDemonstrating excellent priority management skills in real-timeWhat you have
3+ years of relationship management experience in developing enhanced affiliations with banking or brokerage field partners to support business development activitiesBachelor’s degree preferredActive FINRA Series 7 and Series 63/66 licensing preferred or willingness to obtain within 6-12 months of employmentProven ability to influence others, provide an excellent experience while delivering specific product and technical knowledge for all Bank offeringsAptitude to quickly build knowledge base around home lending, asset-based lending, UHNW and Trust Services offerings.Excellent analytical skills, including the business perspective to anticipate issues and their impact on other areas of the company and to actively ensure that their impact is addressedStrong internal and external customer focus, including ability to think in terms of client experience/perspectiveEffective presentation and public speaking skills. Ability to drive strong engagement and foster collaboration within meetings.Quick learning & adoption around new products and processesSelf-Starter, Problem Resolution skills with a strong acumen around delivering and receiving constructive feedback.Proven confidence with technology and the ability to understand & teach new systems/applications with easeProactive daily self-development Outstanding time management and organizational skillsStrong adaptability to change
