Regional Banking Program Manager
Description ***See Additional Job Description for duties specific to this Regional Banking Program Manager role*** Summary:The Program Manager provides leadership and has overall responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology and business unit programs and projects. Duties and Responsibilities: + Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of programs. + Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget and that IT governance is followed. + Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. + Works with business segment manager(s) and program/project sponsors to establish the project scope, deliverables, budget and schedule. + Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree + 7+ years of Program, Project or Product Management experience Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in Banking or Financial Services + Experience utilizing a variety portfolio project management tool and creating and tracking project schedules in MS Excel or MS Project + Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile/Scrum) and project management processes and standards + Strong aptitude in both business and technology + Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to explain project risks and issues, and IT related concepts clearly and concisely to multiple layers of peers and leadership + High motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them + Ability to provide strong program and project leadership during periods of uncertainty, ambiguity, and change + Willingness and drive to learn and understand detailed software solutions + High level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationships + Ability to initiate and facilitate change, whether indicated by corporate needs, market or regulatory requirements + Experience leading large, cross-functional information technology programs and projects Additional Job Description: + Creates strategies and services that support privately-held, owner-managed businesses between $2-50 million in annual revenue. + Works with non-bank partners to support integration of capabilities not native to Huntington Bank (e.g.; FinTech providers, Bank Providers, etc.) + Supports the assessment, strategy development and planning associated with new capabilities, new business initiatives, and other strategic efforts, partnering with business segment management and other resources as necessary (e.g., new market exploration, enhancing capabilities, segment strategies, etc.) + Participates in the development of strategic presentations to senior management (inclusive of C-Suite + Board of Directors), working cross-functionally to determine and develop appropriate content, messaging, and presentation + Completes required reporting including initiative and KPI status reporting + Navigates and drives complex, multi-faceted technological integration events such as merger, acquisition and organic expansions when needed + creates tools, KPIs and reporting to quantify and increase visibility into program status / success + Experience and success in Change Management activities (e.g. Colleague / Customer alignment, training, communications, readiness, adoption, etc.) + Engages, partners with and manages external vendor relationships (Ex.
