Summary:
The Regional Banking Relationship Service Spec Sr is responsible for providing first line customer service support for Business Banking Customers for several Relationship Managers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Opening and the ongoing maintenance of business depository accounts including documentation execution with the customer maintaining under 3 exceptions in a year.Handling Business Banking overdrafts (non-sufficient funds) for Customers owned by Relationship Bankers.Servicing post loan closing needs such as processing loan advances, loan payments or payoffs in accordance with Huntington policy.Ensuring Business Banking fraud process is initiated and followed up on per Huntington Standards. Maintain under 3 exceptions in a year.Responsible to serve as a product liaison for all products Business customers utilizeSuggest bank products and services when needed and connect customer to appropriate colleague/segmentResponsible for maintaining up to date knowledge of products, services, departmental systems, and related technology, policies, and procedures.Responsible for focus and awareness of identifying, assessing and managing risk and adhering to policy and procedure acknowledgments.Participate in identifying issues of concern and keeping department management informed as needed.Makes routine decisions in the absence of an officer.Advises and counsels customers on bank products and services.Assist with complex special projects as neededAssist other RSS colleagues with a problem, resolution, questions and answersMay assist in the onboarding and training of new RSS colleaguesPerforms other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:
High School DiplomaMinimum 2 year of experience in a high-volume clerical support or banking rolePreferred Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills, highly motivated, focused, and goal-orientedMust have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanorStrong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-upAbility to build and expand quality internal and external customer relationshipsMust be able to multi-task and work under pressure with minimal supervisionPC and internet proficiencyProficient in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office ProductsAbility to train newly hired RSS's
