Opportunity Overview
+ Assigned Regional Business Development Manager- OEM Segment, has custom targets which are a combination of successful on-boarding of Original Equipment Manufacturers (e.g., Machine builders, turnkey solution providers) as strategic accounts in the Automation domain, supporting Indirect sales revenue generation, customer satisfaction.
+ Drive deployment of the segment go-to-market plans and activities, working closely with the Segment Leader and the Regional sales leadership team for South Pacific to identify business needs, determine key accounts, co-develop actions and timelines, and align resources in support of go-to-market activities.
+ Serve as regional lead for the implementation of business development programs within OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) market segment. This includes sales campaigns and other prioritized initiatives that support opportunity expansion and account development. Track results of initiatives and provide regular status communications.
+ Drive the sales cadence process for OEM segment including initiating / supporting activities to enhance opportunity pipeline health.
+ Collaborate with Business Development Managers (BDMs), Strategic Partner Program Manager (SPPMs), Regional Marketing and Applications Engineering resources to drive growth within the segment.
+ Identification of the target profile, both OEMs and independent System Integrators, of new customers.
+ Drive action plans to achieve the revenue target and KPIs. The position involves travelling to various Industrialized locations to be successful.
+ Facilitate account management sessions with regional sales and key accounts.
+ Review and interpret key accounts financial performance, pipeline reporting and analysis leveraging tools and data. Identify, develop, and provide to leadership insights, trends, opportunities, and action plans to drive account pipeline and revenue growth.
+ Actively participate in strategic discussions with the Product Management organization to ensure future needs are well understood and to ensure success within the target OEM segment.
+ Leverage the Universal Robots India network to connect our ecosystem to the right insights and thought leadership.
+ Drive exceptional customer service by delivering relevant insights and best practices in the markets segment.

+ 10+ years of experience in technical industrial sales roles, knowledge of Manufacturing, Assembly, Handling, Quality (Inspection and Testing), Industrial Automation is essential (Mechatronic Solution selling)
+ Documented success over multiple years reaching sales targets of about +4 MUSD
+ Relevant experience and customer-focus attitude is more important than education, however, an ideal candidate will have a least an educational background at a Bachelor's level in the field of Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical engineering with flair for Automation, Plus a Management program in business management &/ Marketing.
+ Experience working with both direct-served and distribution (Partner) go-to-market models in the industrial segment. Previous experience in industrial automation, solution/project businesses involving highly technical products – robotics industry experience is a plus
+ Demonstrated success in working independently as well as working in a team sales environment.
+ Business acumen that can be applied at different levels of decision makers from senior management to technical support.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong analytical skillset with significant experience in MS Office, Salesforce (Or other CRM tools)
+ The ideal candidate will already be working in Automotive, Plastics (Injection molding), Food & Beverage line Automation, Machine Tools (Metal cutting/ Metal forming), other allied manufacturing / Assembly segment selling either PLC, CNC, Mechatronics Automation Solutions.
+ The position is open for Bangalore location, which is HQ for UR in India.
+ This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
