Regional Category Manager (m/f/d)

 

What you can look forward to as Regional Category Manager (m/f/d): 

Responsible for respective portfolio performance/strategy (sales, margin, volume, mix, BO, bleeders, G2M, price positioning). Define growth targets & battle plans for key customers together with sales leaders. Voice of the regional market to define the product specifications, to position the product in the right customer segment for financial success. Responsible for portfolio range extension (Pipeline: REMAN, 2nd line, Premium, and rep. kit). Align, define, and execute regional portfolio strategy, as part of the regional category book in line with global strategy. Act as regional AM gatekeeper to support regional front-line sales team, align with regional OE Project Manager to ensure AM requirements are fulfilled in RFQ & GDPEP & CQ meetings. Voice of Category internally/externally and at customer meetings. Support sales & customers and act as portfolio expert. Align & support OP & SP process in the regional respective portfolio with Head of Category.  Responsible for price request approvals, yearly adjustments & promotion set-up according to a defined threshold. Pricing guidance vs. OES & competition.

Your Profile as Regional Category Manager  (m/f/d): 

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in business, engineering, or related; Experience: Min. 3–7 years in product management or sales; IT tools: MS Office, Excel advanced; Cognos, SAP, Sales Force; Languages: English, business fluent; Knowledge of ZF products, footprint, structures, and processes, in particular GD-PEP; Strategic/analytic skills, Customer oriented, negotiating, influencing & relationship management skills; Automotive industry experience is a plus; 25% travel.
