As Regional Category Manager in Sales and Marketing Domain, you will be responsible, for a given region and categories, for leading a pool of buyers and developing & executing regional sourcing strategies according to global category management strategies & business partner's needs. The scope of this position is regional, Rest of the World (excluding NA).

Main responsibilities:

Adapt, implement & execute competitive and innovative global category strategies, based on market intelligence: assessing risks and opportunities, fully aligned on budget & LRPs, delivering value to the businessIdentify and engage at regional level the lead specifiers from the businesses, deliver world class total savings objectives at regional and country level and ensure procurement technical excellenceContribute and build within her/his network an ambitious budget and LRP/Strat Plan according to stakeholders’ priorities and participate to cross domain reviewsStep-in in the key regional negotiations as well as any major country projects and/or supplier issuesDrive the development of new market opportunities (new suppliers, technologies, substitution products, etc.) while setting-up and drive Supplier Relationship Management program at regional and country levelDevelop and implement solid Business engagement plans with the GBUs, the Procurement Centre of Excellence and Business OperationsEnsure with Global Procurement Operations (Country Procurement Heads), the proper business partnering in countries & regions, as it pertains to their respective categories and Engage upfront Senior regional leaders of Global Business Units and Support FunctionsLead Audit management, ensure compliance with code of ethics, ensure meeting all targets for diversity, environment and inclusion. Aggressively promote sustainable sourcingSecure the proper human resources allocation Onboard, develop and manage regional buyers and other resources under their responsibility and ensure procurement management excellence

About you

Experience:

10+ years of relevant experience in a multi-national environment Proven team leadership records for leading multi-cultural teams with complexityStrong knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processesRole model in compliance and ethics

Soft skills:

Possesses strong competency in networking across various stakeholders to deliver successful outcomesProven ability to influence across all Management levels and across Business functionsDemonstrable skills in leading and deploying change management initiatives related to accountabilities of the roleStrong communicator with ability to adapt style and approach according to audienceConsistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and resultsHigh level of analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordinglyAbility to work independently to multiple timescales on multiple concurrent priorities/projectsAble to quickly assimilate new information/skills and then disseminate to others in an easily understood fashionHolds an international and multicultural mindset and experienceDemonstrates willingness and ability to challenge the status quo

Education:

BA from an accredited college or university 

Languages:

Fluent in English is a must, French and Arabic is a great plus
