Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Channel Director to lead our channel strategy and drive growth through effective management of our distribution and partner network. The Channel Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive channel programs, fostering strong relationships with partners, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to the channel team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Develop and implement a comprehensive channel strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives. Identify and onboard new channel partners, distributors, and resellers to expand market reach. Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing necessary support and resources to maximize their performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure alignment of channel strategies with overall business goals. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and optimize channel strategies. Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs for the channel, monitoring performance and making data-driven decisions to improve results. Develop and manage budgets for channel initiatives and promotional activities. Manage and develop programs offered by Fortinet directed at increasing revenues and brand preference from distribution channel and customer facing partners (SIs, VARs, MSSPs, Telco etc.) Manage and organize Fortinet’s presence at partner conferences and events in the region. Work in close cooperation with Channel Marketing Team to coordinate the different channel marketing activities to run with Partners and Distributors.Requirements:
A minimum of five years' senior channel leadership experience in Greater China. Experience in direct sales leadership or direct sales is beneficial. Experience selling security technologies including building, operating and bringing to market managed security services. Excellent relationship network into the channel market, preferable in security industry. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven record of working under pressure, independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation and project management skills. Proactive and highly motivated, working self-reliantly and independently. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Excellent hiring skills to support future growth in pipeline, billings and headcount.
