Job Title: Regional Channel Manager Location: Milwaukee, WI Job Summary The Regional Channel Manager is responsible for recruiting new Agent channel partners and growing an existing base of assigned channel partners to grow revenue in the Everstream portfolio of fiber-based network solutions and Managed Services., The Channel Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned and newly recruited solution partners across all verticals. The Channel Manager reports to the Director of Channel Partner Sales. Everstream has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years, investing more than $1B in expanding its business-only fiber footprint – now more than 27,500 route miles of fiber spanning 10 states in the Midwest. The marketing organization has grown in sophistication in that time as well and is now looking to best-leverage its many tools and resources, in partnership with our sales organization, to continue to grow revenue. If you are a passionate sales executive who loves building relationships, educating and advancing your channel partners, and being constantly visible so Everstream becomes a “top of mind” solution provider for your partner base, this is the job for you. What you’ll be doing: You will rely on your sales acumen to identify, recruit, and grow sales across your assigned territory in the Everstream fiber footprint. Primary Responsibilities In person and virtual appointment setting with your prospect and active Channel Partners. Achieving or exceeding planned sales budget for the agent channel by training, motivating, and monitoring your agent technology partners. Attending Quarter Business Reviews as needed. Recruiting new partners and growing existing partners to sell across the Everstream fiber footprint. Educating Channel Partners on the Everstream value proposition and what makes a great customer prospect for our services. Using on-line tools- Zoom Info, LinkedIn, Connectbase, Everstream building lists, etc. to develop your sales funnel with your channel partners. Responsiveness on Sales proposal requests and follow up to sales closure. Maintaining and keeping Sales Funnel up to date in Salesforce CRM. Attending weekly One on Ones with Channel Sales Director. Event management – executing high-touch, intimate, soft-selling events (ie: IT forums, webinars, joint partner events etc.) to bring Channel Partners together to discuss digital transformation, cloud and connectivity strategies and challenges. Leverage marketing materials and programs to keep Everstream top-of-mind with channel partners; work in partnership with Technology Solutions Distributors (TSDs, master agents) to execute events that engage partners and their customers in co-sales activities. Sales enablement – advocate for the adoption and successful use of existing sales enablement tools, bring new tools to the forefront and champion their use across the sales organization. To succeed in this role, you must be execution-focused with the proper time-management skills to recruit and lead your Channel Partner accounts to drive revenue with Everstream. You must also carefully balance multiple priorities with your inherent desire to not just execute, but to execute the right activities at the right time to deliver optimal results. Preferred Qualifications 4 year degree in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Business Administration 2-5 years’ B2B Telecommunications Sales, preferably with experience in fiber-optic solutions Minimum 1-3 years channel sales experience Familiarity with various telecom solutions- Private Line Ethernet, ELAN, ELINE, Dedicated Internet Access, Dark fiber, DWDM, SD-WAN and VoIP Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word and Excel Experience with Salesforce CRM Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfort interfacing directly with customers Comfort articulating company value propositions in group and individual settings Up to 50% travel in assigned Everstream markets Benefits: Everstream offers competitive compensation as well as a generous employee benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance policies.
