RESPONSIBILITIES

Onboard all clinical staff working in the pharmacy appropriately according to the company’s Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures and methods of practice.

Provide consultation and direction to ensure the quality assurance programs and services are implemented at the highest standards.

Provide mentoring to new company employees.

Maintains all aspects of the pharmacy operation department: Training documentation, reporting, etc. Support the financial goals of the company by being fiscally responsible in all areas, including Inventory management.

Ensure policies and procedures are monitored and updated to include regulatory changes. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. 

Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. 

Support their region in any necessary duties, including but not limited to pharmacy coverage as approved by direct supervisor.  

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:  

Certified Pharmacy Technician required 

High school education required  

Associate Degree preferred 

Certifications/Licenses:  

Certified Pharmacy Technician required 

Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.

Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.  

Previous Experience:  

Minimum of one year pharmacy technician experience mixing medications in a sterile environment is REQUIRED, three years is preferred. 

One year as a Clinic-Pharmacy Technician within the company, preferred.
