Regional Communications and Change Manager

Job Summary:

 

The Change and Communications Manager will play a critical role in leading and managing change initiatives across both in-country and regional operations. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing robust change management strategies and communication plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in organizational change management, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully leading change initiatives on both country and regional scale. Additionally, the candidate should have prior experience in managing external and internal stakeholders and expertise in social media management.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Change Management Strategy:

Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies that address both in-country and regional needs.

Collaborate with senior leadership and regional managers to identify and analyze change impacts and develop appropriate mitigation plans.

Utilize change management methodologies and tools to support the adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational changes across multiple geographies.

 

2. Communication Planning and Execution

Design and implement effective communication plans that articulate the vision, objectives, and benefits of change initiatives for both in-country and regional audiences.

Create compelling and clear communication materials, including presentations, emails, newsletters, FAQs, and intranet content tailored to diverse cultural contexts.

Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels and stakeholder groups, considering regional nuances and language differences.

Plan and execute events, conferences, townhalls, and other activities to promote Allianz Technology’s presence in the Asia region.

 

3. Stakeholder Engagement

Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders at both the in-country and regional levels to understand their needs and concerns related to change initiatives.

Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and focus groups to gather feedback and foster collaboration across different regions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their support and commitment to change efforts.

 

4. Social Media Management

Develop and implement social media strategies to support change initiatives and enhance organizational communication.

Create and manage content for various social media platforms to ensure consistent and engaging messaging.

Monitor social media channels to gauge public sentiment and address any concerns in a timely manner.

 

5.  Training and Development

Develop and deliver training/sharing programs and materials to support employees through change transitions, considering regional training needs and cultural differences.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to cater to regional requirements.

 

6.  Monitoring and Reporting

Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of change initiatives and communication efforts at both the in-country and regional levels.

Regularly report on progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders, providing insights specific to different regions.

Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement across various geographies.

 

7.  Risk Management

Identify potential risks and resistance points related to change initiatives and develop mitigation strategies tailored to different regions.

Proactively address and manage resistance to change through targeted interventions and support, considering regional cultural contexts.

 

 

Job Requirements 

 

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Mandatory Experience of 7-10 years in Communications & Change management, with experience managing both in-country and regional change initiatives.

Proven experience in leading successful change initiatives and managing large-scale transformations across multiple geographies.
