Location Description The Post Consumer Brands sales office in Bentonville is in the heart of the Natural State, Arkansas. Bentonville is also home to the Walmart home office, which this sales team primarily serves. In addition to managing the relationship with Post's largest customer, the small, dedicated team also participates in several charitable and volunteer events throughout the year. The team prides itself on winning together and working hard to meet goals, while celebrating wins. Responsibilities Job Location: Remote, but preferred locations are Denver, CO, Dallas, TX, Atlanta, GA, Jacksonville, FL, Nashville, TN and Charlotte, NC Job Function This position reports to the Walmart Sales team and represents Post Consumer Brands by ensuring company sales objectives are attained in assigned markets. Success is achieved through successful business & relationship building/selling skills. Primary role will be to develop solid working relationships with Walmart Operations decision makers (Regional & Market Managers) and through this relationship meet incremental sales goals/objectives. Job Activities/Duties Understand Walmart’s go-to-market strategy and how to position PCB for success Achieve monthly sales objectives for all PCB brands at regional and market levels; work with Walmart Region and Market Managers; store/market. Develop and execute promotional plans aligned with brand and category growth strategies Identify new opportunities for growth within customer Maintain clear understanding of customer objectives and collaborate with sales team to develop operational plans and measure results. Develop and manage business relationship with cross functional merchandising team Gain a deep understanding of current and future needs of the customer Weekly/Monthly reporting and share-outs, sales analytics, and insights to action, Quarterly Business Reviews, etc Maintain a high level of industry, category, customer, and consumer knowledge related to our products, services, and goals Forecasts incremental volume on a quarterly basis; review periodically to ensure orders align with forecasting; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Understands assigned market demographics by reviewing category management reports and year over year sales reports. Manage travel budget on a quarterly basis. Qualifications Education & Experience: 4-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience 3-5 years grocery and food broker manager experience a plus Travel: Minimum of 60% travel required. Skills: Ability to design and effectively implement both short-term and long-term business strategies Proven experience in cross-selling, and competence in various sales activities Demonstrated knowledge of organizational strategies and techniques Possession of good networking capabilities Strong analytical skills Strong negotiation skills Strong interpersonal skills Excellent motivational skills Ability to be flexible and to multitask Ability to work with a team Possess administration skills Ability to work with little or no supervision at all Result oriented and driven Excellent Communication skills Leadership skills The pay range for this position is $78,587 - $110,021 per year.
