Sodexo School Services is seeking a Regional Dietitian to support multiple units in the State of Florida.  This position will be remote with some travel, approximately 25%.

 

What You'll Do

 

provide nutritional services to multiple accounts in the state of Florida; assist in selecting healthy menu items, evaluating sales and determining what can be offered differently, and promoting nutritional campaignsresponsible for menu compliance, managing Primero Edge, training of new RDs, support client requestsconduct lunch ‘n learn educational sessions across the company and create regular communications intended to motivate and engage the workforce in healthy eating habits    work with nutrition issues related to food allergies, weight management and disordered eating patterns and other medical issues requiring meal selection assistanceprovide direction for planning strategic goals, standards of the brand and maintaining effective communication with other managers and inter-department liaisons

What You Bring a Registered Dietitian, licensure in state of Floridaknowledge of National School Lunch Program and USDA guidelineshave excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levelshave the proven ability to effectively engage, motivate and influence others regarding their nutritionhave strong presentation skillshave demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with the ability to adapt the changing needs of the rolehave a history of working independently with little directionhave a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field and implementation of new and innovative ideas to implement Who We Are

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
