Overview

Oversees all regional operations to include successful implementation of strategic and business plans, company policies and procedures, quality assurance, and financial initiatives. Ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations including financial, internal quality outcomes, external quality outcomes, employee relations and compliance with local, state, and federal law. Works directly with the Division Vice President and other division leaders to promote the principles and philosophy of company, meet goals and objectives, and drive continued growth.

Responsibilities Responsible for full P&L and budget for region assignedMonitors the development, implementation, and ongoing status of strategic plans and business plansOversees the development of the annual operating and capital budgets for each location and ensures expenses comply withbudget constraints and revenue meets or exceeds budgeted goalsDevelops and maintains contact with current funding sources, potential funding sources and, if applicable, local and state legislators and political leadersMaintains awareness of funding source/client requirements and legislation that impacts business operations and liabilityEnsures locations are compliant with client/funding source and regulatory requirements, Company and Corporate policies and proceduresEnsures the provision of quality service consistent with applicable laws/regulations and corporate policies/guidelines/standardsWorks directly with location Executive Directors, clinical management and support staff to identify and resolve any issuesrelevant to the efficient and successful operations of e`ach locationOversees and participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activitiesEnsures property/plant management controls are implementedOversees the development/enhancement of office systems/procedures to ensure effective operation and communication internally and with the corporate officeReviews/approves location policies based on the company’s mission, care standards and business practices, and compliance with corporate policies and proceduresEnsures implementation of corporate initiatives and directivesApproves bid/contract development and submission, as necessaryAssists Executive Directors in development of recruitment, retention and succession plansPerforms all duties inherent in a supervisory and managerial roleAbides by and demonstrates the company Mission — Vision — Values through both behavior and job performance on a day-to-day basisParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor or above Degree in Counseling, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or other clinically oriented degree A minimum of five years regional leadership experience in post-acute rehabilitationExperience providing and/or managing services in multiple setting for persons with brain injuries and other disabilities preferredMaintains relevant professional licensure/registration/certification in the state of practice, if applicableDemonstrates the experience or ability for strategic development and management at an executive levelKnowledge of basic financial and business principlesAbility to stand and work or have mobility through mechanical assistanceAbility to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 poundsAbility to communicate both verbally and in writingPrimarily sedentary which requires stooping, bending, hearing, and vision in order to operate phone, computer, and facsimile About our Line of Business Rehab in Motion is devoted to elevating the physical and emotional wellbeing of seniors through physical, occupational and speech therapies.
