As a Regional Director of Commercial Roofing, you will profitably manage all aspects of the low slope business across the Great Lakes Region, including Western Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia. You will work closely with Commercial Sales Centers and manage an outside sales team to meet ambitious revenue and growth targets while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. What you will do: Business Leadership: Profitably manage all aspects of the low slope business across the Great Lakes Region, including product, pricing, inventory, and vendor management. Sales Leadership: Set clear expectations and provide strategic direction to Commercial Sales Centers, overseeing project tracking, quoting, vendor negotiations, and inventory management to meet sales targets and drive growth. Sales Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing outside sales team to expand market presence, achieve revenue goals, and build key customer relationships. Vendor & Customer Relationships: Develop and strengthen partnerships with key vendors and customers, driving alignment, innovation, and mutual success. Profitability & Innovation: Lead initiatives around pricing discipline, cost management, and profitability while pursuing innovative approaches to grow the business. Change Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement key programs and drive necessary changes to enhance business operations. Safety Leadership: Foster a culture of safety, ensuring that all employees comply with safety standards, protocols, and procedures. Serve as an advocate for safety in all aspects of the business. Industry Representation: Act as an ambassador for low slope roofing at industry events, representing the Great Lakes Region at divisional, national, vendor, and customer meetings. What you will bring: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, or a related field required. A Master’s degree in Business is preferred *Commercial Roofing experience in lieu of education requirements will be also considered. Experience: Strong experience in product management, distribution, and sales management, specifically within the building materials industry. Skills: In-depth knowledge of project quoting, deal structuring, project tracking, and sales pipeline management. Proficiency in Planroom services (e.g., Dodge), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics), and the Microsoft Office suite. Expertise in inventory procurement, pricing management, and inventory control processes. Certifications: Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle; willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. Personal Attributes: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Superior time management and organizational abilities. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
