Position Summary

Lead regional Ebeam-X-rays engineering and maintenance team in line with STERIS EMEA-APA targets and programs.

Work as part of the EMEA-APA managers team across Ebeam and X-rays locations.

Promote and put in place plans for plants reliability improvement, availability maximization, downtime reduction, spare parts availability.

Supervise Ebeam-X-rays engineering and maintenance budget, capital and operational expenditures, quality performances and Health and Safety.

Develop and implement monitoring solutions.

Duties Lead, develop and coordinate the team of Site Maintenance Supervisors, who are under his functional responsibility. Supervise Sites Engineering budget, capital investments and expenses for field of competence (contracts, parts, services) Put in place and supervise suitable preventive maintenance activities, based on field data collection and analysis.   Liaise with site managers / operation managers to minimize operation disruption during maintenance activity Ensure spare parts availability across sites Organize suitable contractors’ support Duties - cont'd

7. Propose and implement technology innovations  

8. Ensure safe engineering practices by development of an effective safety culture, enforcement of safety practices in compliance to internal and external requirements and regulations.

9. Ensure continuous improvement of maintenance processes and activities in line with STERIS world class safety objectives and the Quality management system.

10.Ensure that the Engineering team operates within and towards the published STERIS Corporate vision and global objectives, including LEAN, 5S, Sustainability and One Team One Goal strategies.

Education Degree Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Management or Engineering GeneralRequired Experience

3-5 Years technical, or related field

Proven leadership qualities (leading by example) High degree of trust, integrity and honesty Acute awareness of the importance of safety to the business Willing to go the extra mile for our Customers (Customer First, always) Good understanding of the principle of continuous improvement Well developed understanding of risk and risk avoidance   Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) Good understanding of technology and innovation. Some exposure to the industrial irradiation systems would be a distinct advantage Good innovation attitude Able to remain calm under pressure and make rational decisions Attention to detail
