About the role

Regional Environmental Affairs Director – Midwest Region

Reworld is a world leader in sustainable materials management. Our end-to-end platform provides services ranging from waste material handling, reuse, recycling, energy recovery, secure product destruction, industrial wastewater treatment and disposal, on-site cleaning, and transportation services.

Reworld’s recycling, material processing, and Thermomechanical Treatment (TTF) facilities are critical infrastructure for transitioning to a more circular economy. Our facilities provide environmentally superior options for landfilling, recovering resources for the global economy, and significantly reducing GHG emissions. What we do every day helps our communities, clients, and customers find practical solutions to significant societal challenges and needs: sustainable materials management, renewable energy, and global climate change mitigation. Annually, Reworld’s modern WTE facilities safely convert approximately 21 million tons of waste from municipalities and businesses into clean, renewable electricity to power one million homes and recycle 550,000 tons of metal.

Reworld envisions becoming a leader in sustainable materials management, circularity, and Zero-Waste-to-Landfill (ZWTL) solutions. To this end, Reworld will partner with municipal, industrial, and commercial customers to help them reduce the impact of their difficult-to-handle materials by moving them up the waste hierarchy and leveraging Reworld’s unique ZWTL assets.
