Regional Environmental Health and Safety Manager- Leinster 

To €120,000 DOE + Competitive Package 

We are partnered with a leading Tier 1 main contractor involved in key sectors including Civil Infrastructure, Transport, Commercial, Residential, Retail, Industrial, Fit Out, Data Centre, and Pharmaceutical. Due to continued growth, the organisation is in need of an experienced and detail oriented Regional Environmental Health and Safety Manager. As Regional EHS Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs across multiple sites within the region, ensuring compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies while driving a proactive safety culture to minimise risks and enhance workplace safety. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:        

Develop and implement EHS policies, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and legal requirements. 

Work closely with department managers and supervisors to ensure that health and safety protocols are integrated into daily operations. 

Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. 

Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents, identifying root causes, corrective actions, and ensure emergency response plans are in place and regularly tested. 

Foster a proactive approach to health and safety by engaging teams, encouraging accountability, and continuously improving environment health and safety processes. 

Act as the primary EHS contact for regional authorities, clients, and relevant stakeholders. 

Support site teams in meeting EHS objectives and resolving safety-related challenges. 

Represent the company in regulatory inspections and audits and engage in routine team and management meetings to support decision-making, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar qualifications. 

Extensive experience in EHS management within construction with strong knowledge of regional EHS regulations and international standards. 

Proven ability to lead multiple projects and drive safety initiatives across different locations. 

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.  

Proficiency in health and safety software & tools.
